This week's 88-5 ALBUM DIVE comes from one of my favorite bands - Mt. Joy - who just put out their 4th studio album "Hope We Have Fun" on Friday (5/30).
Mt. Joy is a five-piece featuring Michael Byrnes (bass), Jackie Miclau (keyboards), Matt Quinn (lead vocals, guitar), Sotiris Eliopoulos (drums), and Sam Cooper (guitar). This album also has appearances from Gigi Perez and Nathaniel Ratelifff.
The band plays the Santa Barbara Bowl on 8/24 (I’m sure an LA date is coming)…
