Join Saturday evening host Barry Funkhouser in conversation with Matt Lowell from the Los Angeles-based indie rock band Lo Moon! Matt Lowell detailed when he started writing lyrics and playing guitar and why he decided to move to Los Angeles.
"I had known Chris through friends of friends," Lowell says about how he met Chris Walla from Death Cab for Cutie, "when we were looking for someone to produce our first record, I thought of Chris. I sent him some demos, and he perked up and got excited. Somehow the timing just worked. He has become one of our brothers in music."
Lastly, Lowell dives into the story behind the song "Expectations," which you can still hear on the 88.5 FM airwaves.
