REYNA In-Studio with Byron || The SoCal Sound Sessions

The SoCal Sound In-Studio Session with REYNA is brought to you by The SoCal Sound, CSUN & Saddleback College.

Join The SoCal Sound's Bilingual Sounds host Byron Gonzalez in conversation with Milwaukee-based sister duo REYNA.

In this interview, sisters Vic & Gabby Banuelos look back on the creative process behind their newest EP, 'you could at least say goodbye,' the evolution of their working relationship and sound, and what motivated them to start making music.

Their newest EP thematically revolves around heartbreak, and when asked what it's like performing it live, Vic answered, "I feel when we were writing it, I was really hurt, so it was like throwing everything up. It was this vile feeling of writing my feelings. Now it feels like it's not mine anymore. Every time we play it, it has a different vibe for me now."

This SoCal Sound In-Studio Session with REYNA includes live performances of "todo to nada," "you could at least say goodbye," and "coachella."

The SoCal Sound Sessions are recorded live on location & in studio.
