Our May Artist in Residence - Rostam - has been Guest DJing every Saturday of this month (check out archives here). He has one more show this Saturday at 6pm.
Rostam also just put out his third solo studio album "American Stories."
The former founding member of Vampire Weekend blends Americana sounds with the Persian influences he grew up with.
"Whether they grew up listening to Middle Eastern music or they never did, whether they grew up listening to classical music or they never did. I think there's something appealing about the challenge of, like, can I make somebody who's never been that into X genre broaden what they consider, quote-unquote, 'their music'..." - Rostam
