Liana Bassior fell in love with music at a young age, starting with the 70s and 80s folk rock of her parents' generation and the sense of community that it brought. Her dad was a well-known radio personality and musician, contributing to her early fascination with radio and how it can connect a whole community through music.
She moved to LA to study theater at CSU Northridge, and began a career in voiceover after graduating. In 2019 she began volunteering at the radio station of her alma mater. She began by subbing in for a late-night program on the Latin Alt channel, lending her voice for various promos, and working her way up to her own slot on The Socal Sound. You can hear her on Saturday nights from 11 PM-1 AM.
When not talking for a living, she loves to hang out with her two cats Ricky and Lavi, and geek out about astrology.
